Privacy Policy

Effective: June 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how BroadNarrow Labs, LLC (“BroadNarrow Labs,” “Company,” “us,” “we,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you in connection with the website located at redlineiq.com and any other websites we operate (collectively, the “Website”) and the RedlineIQ document-comparison application and related software we provide (collectively, the “App”). The Website and App together are referred to as the “Platform.” Persons who visit the Website or use the App are referred to as “Users.”

By accessing or using the Platform, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Use and Service. References to our “affiliates” mean any entity that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with BroadNarrow Labs.

1. Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you choose to give us, including:

  • Waitlist and contact information. When you join a waitlist or contact us, we collect your email address and any other details you provide, such as your name, organization, or the contents of your message.
  • Account information. If we make account registration available, we may collect a username, password, and similar identifiers.
  • Document content (User Materials). When you use the App to compare documents, the App processes the documents and content you provide so it can generate comparisons, redlines, summaries, and exports. See Section 3 for how that content is processed.
  • Subscription and update preferences. If you sign up for product updates or newsletters, we collect your email address and any preferences you indicate.
  • Job applicants. If you apply for a position, we collect the contact details and materials you submit.

We use this information to respond to your inquiries, operate the Platform and provide its features, manage access and accounts, send communications you have requested, evaluate job applications, and otherwise run our business.

2. Information We Collect Automatically

When you access the Platform, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address, browser type and version, operating system, and device identifiers;
  • Pages or areas visited and the time of those visits;
  • Referring and exit URLs; and
  • Approximate geographic location derived from IP address (typically state or city level).

We use this information to operate, secure, and improve the Platform; to detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and for analytics and reporting. The Website uses privacy-conscious analytics (for example, Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate usage.

3. How Document Content Is Processed

We designed the App so that the core document comparison runs locally on your device. Certain features, however, rely on third-party processors and require transmitting document content or derived data to those services on your behalf:

  • AI features. Summaries and analysis are produced with the assistance of third-party artificial intelligence and large language model providers (for example, Google or comparable providers), which process the content you submit for those features on our behalf.
  • Storage integrations. If you choose to connect a third-party document-storage service, the App will access the files and account information you authorize for that integration.

These providers process information on our behalf, subject to their applicable terms and data-handling commitments. We do not knowingly permit your document content to be used to train third-party models for the benefit of those providers. We may use de-identified or aggregated data to operate and improve the Platform as described in our Terms.

4. Payment Information

The Platform may be free during a beta period. For paid features, we use third-party payment processors to handle payments. Payment details are provided directly to those processors and are not stored on our systems; we may receive confirmation of payment and similar non-sensitive transaction details.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, log files, and similar technologies to remember your preferences, keep the Platform secure, understand which areas are used, and analyze aggregate usage. The Platform does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. You may set your browser to block or notify you of cookies, though some features may not function properly if you do. We may use third-party analytics services, which process information subject to their own privacy policies.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information in the following circumstances:

  • With service providers. We share information with vendors that provide hosting, infrastructure, database storage, email delivery, analytics, customer support, and similar services, under contractual restrictions appropriate to the type of information shared.
  • With AI and language model providers. As described in Section 3, we transmit content you submit for AI features to third-party AI providers that process it on our behalf.
  • With affiliates. We may share information among our affiliates for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
  • With your permission, when you ask us to or otherwise consent.
  • For legal and safety reasons, when we believe it is necessary to comply with law, enforce our agreements, prevent fraud or security issues, or protect the rights, property, or safety of BroadNarrow Labs, our users, or others.
  • In a corporate transaction, as described in Section 9.

7. Storage, Retention, and Security

We rely on third-party hosting and infrastructure providers to run the Platform. We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Platform, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, and we may retain backups for a reasonable period. We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and you provide your information at your own risk.

8. Children’s Information

The Platform is intended for businesses and adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it as soon as practicable.

9. Transfer of Information in Corporate Transactions

If we merge with another entity, sell assets, raise financing, restructure, or undertake a similar transaction, information we hold (which may include personal information you have provided) may be transferred among the assets involved. We will ask the receiving entity to treat your information consistently with this Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Websites

The Platform may link to or integrate with websites and services we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party. If you access a third-party service, you do so at your own risk and subject to that party’s terms and privacy policy.

11. Your Choices and Rights

  • Update your information. Contact us to update or correct information you have provided.
  • Stop receiving emails. Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or contact us. We may still send transactional or service-related messages.
  • Access or deletion. Depending on your jurisdiction (for example, California, Colorado, Virginia, or other U.S. states with applicable privacy laws), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, and to appeal a denial. To exercise these rights, contact us; we will verify your identity before responding.
  • Manage cookies. Adjust your browser settings to block or notify you of cookies.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make substantial changes, we will endeavor to notify you (for example, by email or by posting a notice on the Website). Reviewing this page periodically is the best way to stay informed.
